WH - New Imperialism | On Monday, we will begin a new unit that is a mix of three chapters (12, 13, and 16) focussed on the topic of New Imperialism and the impact of western imperialism upon Africa and Asia. We will likely spend this first week on the causes of imperialism and the impact upon Africa.
Geo - Human Geography | This week we will begin a new unit dedicated to human geography, which examines the spreading of ideas through cultural diffusion, people through migration, etc., along with a section on political and economic structures. Most of this week will be spend on population trends and cultural conflicts. US - WWII at Home | This will be our second chapter on WWII, but this time we are studying the impact of the war on the homefront. We will return to last week's discussion of war crimes at the end of the week in order to examine the interment of the Japanese in the US. American Heroes - Heroes from the Industrial Revolution Era and discussing research paper topics. Resource Management - We are starting our next unit over budgeting and taxes. Civics - We have begun studying the US Constitution. Passing this test is a graduation requirement. Current Events - We are discussing fake news and the impeachment. Military History - We are discussing strategy and tactics with an emphasis on the Art of War by Sun Tzu. Comments are closed.
