WH - Nationalism Triumphs in Europe | We will begin this week examining the effects of Nationalism on the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and Russia. We will be testing on Friday. Packets are also due on Friday. Geo - We are focusing on Unit 1 (C1/C3) which covers the basic skills and tools of geography (like maps). We will be finishing up 3.3 on Monday and preparing to test on Friday. Our unit packet is due on Monday, while the map packet is due on February 7. US - WWII | This week will be dedicated to learning about and discussing war crimes. We will focus specifically on the Holocaust, the Bataan Death March, and the Rape o Nanjing. Students will read primary source accounts and watch a primary source video. American Heroes - Heroes from the Industrial Revolution Era Resource Management - We're discussing economic systems (traditional, command, market). Civics - Origins of the U.S. Government Current Events - We are discussing women in the draft and U.S. Iran relations this week.
